BIOhome is an at-home plastic composting system that allows the user to compost single-use plastic waste. This system gives the user a more active role in their waste management, leading them to be more familiar with composting, sustainable waste management, and the circular lifecycle.

The system utilizes the chemical and physical potential of live organisms specifically mealworms, waxworms, and oyster mushrooms to biodegrade and decompose plastic waste into materials that can be reintroduced back into the environment.
